Tom Holland Reacts To His ‘Back To The Future’ Deepfake

We loved how these two worked together in the MCU and having a glimpse at an opportunity at seeing them next to each other in another adventure franchise is just too much to simply ignore.

Recently, a couple of images of Robert Downey Jr and Tom Holland faked as heroes of the Back to The Future franchise managed to stir some conversations and started a bunch of rumors. The deepfake looks convincing and may even cause some people to believe that the movie is in production right now.

However, we all need to calm down. It’s not happening! Or is it?

Tom Holland’s face on top of Michael J. Fox’s body and a concerned Robert Downey Jr right next to him is an image that stays with you because it is so real and the established chemistry between actors just begs to be used again in a different setting.

We loved how these two worked together in the MCU and having a glimpse at an opportunity at seeing them next to each other in another adventure franchise is just too much to simply ignore.

The audio in the video is the same as before. However, it still looks very real. While the dangers of deepfake technology are hard to ignore, it is amusing and intriguing what can be achieved with it. Many fans expressed their interest in a possible return of the franchise with Tom Holland and Robert Downey Jr cast as Marty and Doc.

Funnily enough, the latest movie where we’ve seen both actors working closely side-by-side referenced Back to the Future movies and even talked about its concepts not being really plausible in the MCU setting.

Yes, the deepfakes are nothing but a fun rumor source that will most certainly be forgotten within a couple of weeks. Nevertheless, we can still hope that the dynamic duo of Holland and Downey Jr will be used again in any shape or form on the big screen!
