DaBaby Apologizes For HIV Comments Made At Rolling Loud Miami

DaBaby has apologized for his comments about people living with HIV while on stage at Rolling Loud Miami festival.

DaBaby apologized via tweet, describing his comments made while on stage at the festival as “insensitive” and stating that he had “no intentions on offending anybody.” The rapper also addressed the LGBT community in his tweet; he said “I ain’t trippin on y’all, do you. y’all business is y’all business.”

He tweeted:

DaBaby also had a word for brands, networks, and artists that “like to profit off of black rappers influence.”

& for any brands, networks, or artists that like to profit off of black rappers influence on the culture, without understanding it or having the patience to deal with what comes with the position we play in our culture. Keep yo money next time us “NIGGAS” human too. #GodBless

While performing at Rolling Loud festival in Miami on July 25, 2021, the rapper made a horrible comment about people with HIV when he asked the audience to put up their cell phone light.

 

If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up.
