Kofi Kinaata has won the Highlife Song of the Year for ‘Thy Grace Part 1’ at the 23rd Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) held at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Center (AICC) on Saturday.
Past winners of this category have been dominated with the ‘new school’ Kidi – Enjoyment in 2021 , Shatta Wale – My Level in 2019. This years High Life Song Of The Year award category which includes Kofi Kinaata – The Grace PT1, Ak Songstress – Jonathan, Akwaboah ft Cina Soul – Obiaa, Bisa KDei – Yard, Kuami Eugene – Te Na Fie, Cina Soul – Feelings, was highly speculated to be won by of course the regular but wait, that did not happen.
