The grand opening of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai became a star-studded affair, with not just Bollywood stars but Hollywood sensations showing up with stunning outfits. And Gigi Hadid’s elaborate outfits for the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre’s grand inauguration, which were created by Indian fashion designer Rahul Mishra, turned heads.

Rahul Mishra, who gave both Gigi’s and Zendeya’s outfits a desi twist, created the sparkling, glitzy looks that made American supermodel and Hollywood actress Gigi Hadid and Zendaya look stunning, which both were praised for their outfits at Nita Ambani’s event.

Gigi Hadid’s outfits on the Day 2 of the NMACC opening consisted of a long jacket with stunning floral detailing as well as colorful flowing pants, giving a desi touch to her outfit. In other words ‘embroidered ‘Himachal’ trench paired with coordinating trousers and bralette.’

According to the 43-year-old Indian fashion designer, where he made a post on Instagram, The look aims to articulate a fantastical rendition of his(Rahul Mishra) first hand experience of a Himalayan spring.

“The dream finally emerges on the surface through elements that are meticulously imagined in threads, beads, sequins and other media,” he wrote on Instagram.

He continue by saying “The embroidery on the full ensemble is realised over 2400 human hours of time.” Rahul also praise Elizabeth Sulcer for her impeccable styling of Gigi Hadid.

Meanwhile, Zendaya wore a stunning midnight blue saree with sparkling detailing and flowing pallu, sweeping people off their feet.

Mishra became the first Indian designer to be invited to showcase at the Haute Couture Week in Paris, and the first Indian designer to win the International Woolmark Prize at Milan Fashion Week.

As per Rahul Mishra collection’s official website, the average pricing of his traditional wear such as sarees, lehengas and kurtas is over Rs 2 to 3 lakhs and can go up to Rs 10 lakh. Western wear such as dresses, co-ord sets, and jackets, are priced above Rs 1.5 lakh.
