The 2023 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award, often known as the AMVCA, was won by Nigerian comedy actor Samuel Animashaun Perry, also known by his stage as Broda Shaggi.
DAILY POST earlier reported that Shaggi was declared winner of the ‘Best Actor in a comedy’ category in the ongoing event. The actor used his Facebook page to thank God for the honor as he addressed his emergence on Sunday.
According to him, winning the AMVCA again after the 2022 edition was a product of hard work, stressing that hard work pays. He wrote, “Winning this award is a reminder that Hard work, consistency dedication and perseverance pays off.
“Thank you Almighty God and to everyone who has supported me along the way. I’m beyond grateful and I owe it to you all.
“Special shout out to my ever supportive manager @Upanddownfellow.
“Here is to chasing even bigger dreams in the future!”
