However, due to the unprecedented circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 awards had to be postponed. In order to prioritize the safety and well-being of attendees, the awards weekend was rescheduled to take place on May 28-30, 2021.

This adjustment ensured that the event could be held in accordance with the necessary health guidelines and provided a platform to honor the remarkable individuals who have made significant contributions to Christian music, sports, books, and movies.
