Cali Vibes Festival 2024 was the ultimate music extravaganza, featuring an impressive lineup of artists from around the world. Spread across the sprawling festival grounds, multiple stages showcased a diverse range of genres, ensuring there was something for everyone. However, it was the Boom Yard stage that stole the show, becoming the focal point of the entire festival.

CaliVibesFest2024 was a true spectacle of music and energy, and one artist in particular left the audience in awe.

As the sun set over the sprawling festival grounds, all eyes were on the Boom Yard stage, where Stonebwoy was about to make his mark. Known for his explosive performances and electrifying stage presence, the Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artist did not disappoint.

From the moment he stepped foot on the stage, Stonebwoy captivated the audience with his commanding stage presence. His infectious energy was contagious, spreading through the crowd like wildfire. As he launched into his first hit, the crowd erupted in cheers and applause, completely entranced by his powerful voice and captivating lyrics.



The performance marked his first international outing, two months, since he reaffirmed his status as one of Africaā€™s most exciting musical exports with his sold-out BHIM Festival at the Accra Sports Stadium in Ghana on Friday, December 22.

Stonebwoy’s set at CaliVibesFest2024 was a non-stop rollercoaster of high-energy performances and crowd-pleasing hits. From start to finish, he kept the audience on their feet, delivering one memorable moment after another.

One of the standout moments of Stonebwoy’s set was his special tribute to the legendary Bob Marley, he also delivered a stirring remake of ā€œBuffalo Soldierā€ which features he vocals. On the night, Stonebwoy commanded the stage with his magnetic presence, igniting a palpable energy that reverberated throughout the venue.



Another highlight of African dancehall genius set was his performance of “Gidigba,” a chart-topping hit that had taken the music world by storm.



But perhaps the most awe-inspiring moment of his set was his performance of “Run Go,” a powerful and socially conscious track that spoke to the heart of the audience. As the lyrics addressed issues of inequality and social injustice, the crowd hung onto every word, their voices joining together in a powerful chorus of unity and hope.

With a global tour schedule that includes the Rolling Cocoa Festival in Washington, DC on March 9 and the Sierra Nevada World Music Festival in California from June 21 to 23, Stonebwoy’s journey is far from done.

Notable stops along the route include the Island Rock Concert on February 23 later this month and the Austin Reggae Festival in Texas on April 19, which promises to be an amazing event filled with catchy rhythms and uplifting vibes.

According to reports, the dancehall crooner is aslo working on his eagerly awaited new album. This album will be his sixth studio release overall, and his second since signing to Universal Music Group / DefJam Records in 2022, however specifics are still unknown.

Stonebwoy’s previous album, “5th Dimension,” was set to be a turning point in his remarkable career and further cemented his position as a worldwide music icon when it was released in 2023.

Renowned musicians like Shaggy, Davido, Stormzy, Angelique Kidjo, and more contributed guest verses to “5th Dimension.”
