Chef Falia’s Cook-a-thon attempt disqualified by Guiness World Records

Chef Faila Abdul-Razak, whose name is synonymous with gastronomic endurance, started the cook-a-thon. Chef Faila demonstrated incredible stamina by cooking nonstop for an unbelievable 227 hours.Her goal was to beat the current record for the longest cooking marathon.Regardless of her gallant attempts, she was disqualified due to a technicality.
After 227 hours, Chef Faila (@FailaAbdulRazak) turned off her gas to officially conclude her extraordinary cookathon, in a remarkable singular Guinness World Records attempt.
Her challenge had undergone a review by Guinness World Records. However, in the spirit of awaiting official confirmation from Guinness World Records, Chef Faila joins Dorcus Mirembe, a.k.a. Mama D, a Ugandan lady who attempted the GWR cookathon for an impressive 144 hours (6 days) from December 23rd to 28th, 2023, surpassing the previous record of 119 hours, 57 minutes, and 16 seconds set by Alan Fisher.

Y’all were laughing at Hilda Baci for being tired early. She adhered diligently to the rules that’s why she got tired early. Her goal wasn’t to go longer but to make sure she equals it without any violations and then proceed to add a little more even if it’s 1 hour.
