Renowned reggae/dancehall musician and Afrodancehall pioneer Stonebwoy has once again used his platform to shine a spotlight on some of the most pressing social issues facing the African continent in his powerful new song, “Believe in Africa.”
Stonebwoy, in collaboration with Africa Prosperity Network, shares a new theme song, “Believe in Africa,” an anthem urging and encouraging Africans to embrace their heritage, celebrate their diversity, and work together towards a more improved and prosperous tomorrow.

Inspired by his profound pride in his African background, Stonebwoy creates a powerful hymn that addresses the hard reality that many Africans still face on a daily basis.
Through his evocative lyrics and soulful vocal delivery, he addresses the systemic inequalities, political instability, and economic hardships that have long plagued nations across Africa, preventing true progress and prosperity. Stonebwoy’s emotive calls for unity, self-empowerment, and a renewed sense of hope resonate strongly, providing a much-needed antidote to the constant negativity and despair that often dominate narratives about Africa.
The song was was unveiled during his impressive performance at the Africa Prosperity Championship Awards held at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra on Friday, January 27. An award ceremony that includes some of Africa’s great lawmakers and game changers, like H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, First Lady of Ghana. H.E. Rebecca Akufo-Addo, former Head of State; H.E. John Agyekum Kufuor, President of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana; H.E. Mohammed Irfaan Ali; H.E.
