Ella Langley, the rising county singer and songwriter, has announced the highly anticipated release of her debut full-length album, ‘Hungover,’ set to hit the airwaves on August 2nd.
The 14-song tracklist includes previously released songs like “paint the town blue” and “nicotine,” as well as a brand-new duet “you look like you love me” with Riley Green.
The Alabama native worked with Kameron Marlow on “Strangers” and Koe Wetzel on “That’s Why We Fight” in addition to releasing her debut EP, Excuse the Mess, last year.
‘Hungover’ promises to be a captivating and deeply personal collection of tracks that delve into the raw emotional experiences of young adulthood, exploring themes of heartbreak, self-discovery, and the bittersweet realities of navigating the complexities of life.
“14 songs that tell a story. I’m so grateful for the writers who helped me tell this story. It was such a beautiful collaboration to write all of these. Thank you to all of the session players who brought these tunes to life.”
The album’s title, ‘Hungover,’ is a clever nod to the album’s overarching narrative, which follows Langley’s journey through the emotional hangovers of lost love, personal growth, and the bittersweet aftertaste of life’s ups and downs.
