Doja Cat performs “Diamonds Are Forever” at the Oscars in tribute to James Bond

Doja Cat brought the house down at the 2025 Oscars with a mesmerizing performance of “Diamonds Are Forever” as part of a James Bond tribute.
The singer’s powerful vocals did justice to the classic Shirley Bassey hit, which was originally featured in the 1971 Bond film of the same name. Doja Cat was joined by other talented artists, including Blackpink’s Lisa, who performed “Live and Let Die,” and Raye, who sang “Skyfall”.
The tribute was introduced by Halle Berry, who starred as Jinx in the 2002 Bond film “Die Another Day”.

The James Bond Oscars tribute was first announced late last week and was done as a way for the Academy to honor outgoing franchise producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson. James Bond themes are among the most popular and successful themes in film history.
“Live and Let Die” and “Skyfall” are two of the six songs from the franchise to have been nominated for Academy Awards, with the other four being Carly Simon’s “Nobody Does It Better” from The Spy Who Loved Me, Bill Conti and Micki Leeson’s eponymous song from For Your Eyes Only, Sam Smith’s “Writing on the Wall” from Spectre, and Billie Eilish’s titular track for No Time to Die.
