Miley Cyrus could bring back Hannah Montana: “I’m already a legend, I have permission.”
The “Flowers” singer is reportedly planning to wear her signature blonde wig for upcoming concerts following Disney’s decision.
Miley Cyrus has hinted at a possible Hannah Montana reunion on stage. “For years, I wasn’t allowed to sing any of my Hannah Montana music after I left Disney ,” she told The Ringer podcast. While she admits it didn’t make much sense to mash up songs like “The Best of Both Worlds ” with “ Wrecking Ball ,” it pained her not to be able to connect with her audience through those songs.
Now, after being named a Disney Legend, Miley finally has permission to perform that catalog live.
” I wasn’t given the opportunities to sing with legends like Stevie Wonder that I was with the Jonas Brothers . But now I understand that the most valuable recognition I received came from the millions of people who were building their identity with me.”
In the midst of promoting her latest project, “Something Beautiful,” Miley Cyrus has come full circle with gratitude and authenticity . Her story, marked by challenges and reinventions, once again brings to the forefront an artist who hasn’t forgotten where she comes from. And the best part: she promises big surprises for her upcoming shows.
One of the most emotional moments was her reflection on her relationship with Dolly Parton , who played her aunt in the series. “It was fate,” Cyrus said in an interview with The New York Times. “I’ve known her since I was very little because my father made music with her when I was just a baby. I hadn’t seen her again until we worked together on Hannah Montana , and we became very close.”

What began as a working collaboration transformed into a relationship that has lasted to this day.” Dolly looked at me, saw a little girl with a blonde wig, and said, ‘I see you,’ Miley recalled excitedly. Although they aren’t related by blood, they consider each other family: “We chose each other.” Beyond music and fame, what Miley admires most about her godmother is her authenticity. “She had a private, real, loving life with her husband Carl … I find that admirable ,” she added.
