Mikey Madison and Jeremy Allen White Eyed for ‘Social Network 2,’ Reports

Madison & White Eyed for 'Social Network 2'

It looks like The Social Network might be getting a long-awaited sequel—and two of Hollywood’s buzziest stars are in the mix!

Sources close to the project suggest that Mikey Madison (Anora, Better Things) and Jeremy Allen White (The Bear, The Iron Claw) are being considered for leading roles in Aaron Sorkin’s follow-up to the 2010 Oscar-winning hit ‘The Social Network.’

While no official offers have been made (yet!), Sorkin has reportedly spoken directly with both actors in recent weeks.

“They’re at the top of the list,” one insider spilled. “Nothing is signed, but Aaron is excited about both of them.”

As of now, The Social Network 2 is still in the early stages of development and hasn’t received the official green light from Sony Pictures, who backed the original film.

Sorkin—who won the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for the first film—has been teasing the idea of a sequel for years, especially as the real-life Facebook/Meta saga continues to unfold in the headlines.

No word yet on who Madison or White would play, but fans are already buzzing online. Could Madison portray a high-powered tech exec or political player? Might Jeremy step into a role mirroring Mark Zuckerberg, or perhaps a challenger to his empire?

We’ll have to wait and see! Until then, we’ll be watching this one very closely.
