Stonebwoy, is set to set the Volta Region ablaze this March, and the regional government is throwing its full weight behind him.

On Thursday, February 19, 2026, the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, received a high-powered delegation from the Burniton Music Group at the Regional Coordinating Council. The visit was a courtesy call to finalize preparations for the much-anticipated TORCHER EXPERIENCE CONCERT, scheduled for March 5, 2026, at the 20K-Capacity Ho Youth Resource Center (YRC Stadium).

The meeting, held in collaboration with the Office of the Volta Regional Member of the Council of State, focused on more than just entertainment. Hon. James Gunu emphasized the importance of the event as a catalyst for youth engagement and regional pride.

“Stonebwoy is not just a music icon but a great asset to the Volta Region,” the Minister stated via his official X account. “We engaged in fruitful discussions aimed at ensuring a successful and impactful event for the youth and people of the Volta Region.”

To ensure the safety and comfort of the thousands of fans expected to throng the stadium, the Minister revealed that the regional administration has already hit the ground running:

  • Venue Readiness: A dedicated team has been dispatched to tidy up the Ho Youth Resource Center.

  • Enhanced Lighting: Streetlights are currently being fixed along the corridor from the Power House area to the Stadium to boost security for patrons.

  • Site Inspection: The Minister personally joined the delegation to inspect the stadium facilities to ensure everything meets world-class standards.

The “Torcher Experience” is more than just a concert; it is a homecoming celebration for the Bhim Nation president, timed perfectly to coincide with Ghana’s Independence celebrations and the artist’s birthday month.

The event is expected to be a massive boost for the local economy, attracting visitors from across the country to the regional capital. Hon. James Gunu’s enthusiastic endorsement sends a clear message: Ho is open for business and entertainment.

“Ho is ready for the Torcher Experience! Volta is ready!” the Minister concluded.
