Hollywood is buzzing after Rachel Zegler dropped a not-so-subtle hint about her love life—right as rumors swirl that she’s split from boyfriend Nathan Louis-Fernand.
The 24-year-old Golden Globe–winning star took to Instagram on Thursday (March 12) and posted a cheeky meme that fans are now dissecting like detectives. The post read: “I can’t wait to be a girlfriend cause last time I was the boyfriend.”
But it was Rachel’s follow-up comment that really set the internet ablaze.
Broadway actor Roman Banks joked in the comments, “slide 14 lmaooo,” referring to the meme in the post. Rachel fired back with a revealing response: “not just last time EVERY TIME.”
Fans immediately began speculating that the comment could be a dig at her recent relationship with Nathan, whom she first sparked romance rumors with in July 2025 while working on the London production of the musical Evita. Rachel played the title role while Nathan performed as a dancer in the ensemble.
The dancer’s resume is no small feat either—he’s previously performed in stage hits like The Lion King, Magic Mike, and Hamilton.

Nathan, however, still follows the actress.
