In an emotional birthday reveal broadcast directly onto the Eiffel Tower, global icon Celine Dion has confirmed her monumental return to the stage with a five-week concert season at the 40,000-capacity Paris La Défense Arena this September.
Following a years-long hiatus due to health struggles, the “Power of Love” singer declared herself “strong and excited” to reunite with fans for a career-spanning program of French and English hits.
Directed by award-winning show designer Willo Perron, the residency marks Dion’s first major performances since 2020, turning months of cryptic street posters and “mysterious” social media teasers into a triumphant reality for the French capital.
In her message, Dion addressed fans directly and reflected on the support she has received in recent years. “Over the last few years, every day that’s gone by, I’ve felt your prayers and support, your kindness and love,” she said. “You’ve helped me in ways that I can’t even describe, and I’m truly fortunate to have your support.”
The Paris engagement follows Dion’s return to the spotlight during the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympics, where she performed “Hymne à l’amour” atop the Eiffel Tower that marked her first major live performance in several years.
Dion previously set records in Las Vegas with two long-running residencies between 2003 and 2019, which remain the highest-grossing and best-selling residencies in history.
Artist pre-sale registration will be available through Dion’s official website, with access beginning April 7. A separate early-access window for Visa cardholders is scheduled for April 8 through April 9, while general ticket sales will open April 10.
