The most recent trailer for the widely anticipated Barbie The Movie teases the release of a brand-new Billie Eilish song, What Was I Made For?
The full release of the song will come this Thursday (13 July) and Eilish has already promised her fans it will make them “sob”.
To announce the song, the superstar shared a photo on Instagram of the Barbie logo with the track’s title written above it. The caption read: “We made this song for Barbie and it means the absolute worrrrllld to me. This movie is gonna change your lives and hopefully, this song will too. Get ready to sob.”
The newest celebrity to confirm that they will be contributing to the Barbie soundtrack album is Eilish. Barbie has already had several singles published, including Dance The Night by Dua Lipa, Barbie World by Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice, Angel by Pink Pantheress, Watati by Karol G, and Speed Drive by Charli XCX.
