Filipino-American Olivia Rodrigo dazzled the crowd in the Philippine Arena on Saturday, October 5, during her first-ever concert in her homeland, the Philippines, as part of her GUTS World Tour.
The event was extra special for being a “Silver Star” show–which entails that it featured tickets priced at just $26, with all net proceeds being donated to charity through her “Fund 4 Good” initiative.
In an Instagram post, she revealed that her charity of choice for the Manila show is Jhpiego, a non-profit organization that advocates for women’s reproductive health and rights.

“I got to visit the organization while I was in Manila and was so impressed by the work they are doing providing healthcare to women and girls in the Philippines,” Olivia noted.
Rodrigo expressed that the show was a dream come true, not only for her Filipino fans but also for herself. She successfully filled the Philippine Arena, which has a 55,000 seating capacity, marking it as her largest performance to date.
“[I’ve] been dreaming of this show for a [while]. My first time in the Philippines and also my biggest venue ever!!!!! Thank you to everyone, Manila, for welcoming me so generously and making me feel so loved,” she noted.

“It was the most special show and the most meaningful trip. [To] say I’m grateful doesn’t even cut it! Mahal kita (I love you),” Olivia added.
Filipino fans warmly assured Olivia Rodrigo that she will always have a home and family in the Philippines, affectionately dubbing her “pinsan,” or cousin, as a sign of their love and connection.
