HO, VOLTA REGION – The air in the Volta Region is thick with “Bhim” fever!
Ahead of tonight’s highly anticipated kickoff of The Torcher Experience tour, global dancehall titan Stonebwoy and his team made a high-profile power move, paying a courtesy visit to the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu.
The meeting, which took place at the Regional Residency, felt less like a formal briefing and more like the return of a conquering hero. Minister Gunu didn’t hold back the praise, officially labeling the “Into the Future” singer a “shining star” and a “global music icon.”
The timing couldn’t be more cinematic. The Minister pointed out a “significant” cosmic coincidence: Stonebwoy’s birthday falls on today, March 5th—the literal eve of Ghana’s Independence Day.
“It is even more significant that his birthday falls on March 5… on the eve of our Independence Day celebrations,” the Minister shared via Facebook, noting that Stonebwoy is using this “special season” to spark a fire of patriotism and national pride in the youth.
While fans are expecting high-octane performances and pyrotechnics at the Ho/Adaklu Youth Resource Center tonight, the Minister insists this is a “revival.”
“The Torcher Experience” is not just a concert — it is a revival of the spirit of our region,” Gunu declared.
He also gave a massive shout-out to H.E Gabriel Tanko Kwamigah-Atokple, the Council of State Member for the Volta Region, for his “significant role” in bringing this historic initiative to life.
With the Minister’s full blessing and the BHIM Nation army descending on Ho, tonight is set to be a “first-of-its-kind” historic spectacle. From the halls of government to the streets of Adaklu, the message is clear: The President of BHIM Nation is home.
