After weeks of obsessive color-watching from her fanbase, Olivia Rodrigo has announced her third album via a transforming mural in Los Angeles.
The public installation, which has been frequently updated with shifting gradients of purple and pink, transitioned through the word “Love” before finally settling on the album’s title: “You Seem Pretty Sad For a Girl So in Love.”
The reveal marks the end of a long wait for the multi-Grammy winner’s return, confirming that the successor to the chart-topping GUTS is finally on the horizon.
Colloquially dubbed “OR3” by fans, this new chapter has been the subject of intense speculation since the 2025 festival leg of the GUTS World Tour. Sleuthing “Livies” had previously flagged potential clues hidden in the custom t-shirts Rodrigo wore on stage, and the fanbase can rest for now in the comfort of this announcement.
Set for release on June 12th, in a press release, Olivia says that she is “so proud of this record.”
