If you’ve been glued to her “brighter days” hotline, you’ve probably been going crazy trying to figure out the obsession with the number eight, and now it all makes sense.
She’s been dropping hints for weeks, from cryptic audio teases to syncing major updates with the 8th, 18th, and 28th of April. It was more than just a gimmick and was actually a way of keeping fans on their toes in the lead-up to this big reveal.
petal is described by Ariana as, “Something that is full of life and growing through the cracks of something cold and hard and challenging”.
The excitement went into overdrive a few days ago when she posted rehearsal shots for the Eternal Sunshine Tour. Fans immediately clocked a camera labeled “No Film!” that was tagged with director Christian Breslauer, the same person behind her recent video hits.
While she’s prepping for the tour, it’s pretty clear she’s also cooking up something big visually for this new era.
