In a delightful turn of events, Jesy Nelson, the former Little Mix star, has announced that she is pregnant and expecting twins with her rapper boyfriend Zion Foster.
The 33-year-old singer took to Instagram to share the joyous news, posting an adorable Polaroid picture of herself and Zion in a kitchen with the cheeky caption “eating for three now.”
The couple’s relationship has been something of a rollercoaster—they first started dating in 2022 but were reported to have split up last year.
However, love conquered all, and they reconciled in November after a three-month breakup following their initial nine-month romance.
Jesy rose to fame as part of the hugely successful girl band Little Mix, which was formed on The X Factor in 2011 and went on to achieve a string of UK number-one singles. In December 2020, after nine incredible years, Jesy made the difficult decision to leave the group, citing the toll that the pressures of being in the band had taken on her mental health.
Since then, she has embarked on a solo career but has always had nothing but praise for her former bandmates, even telling The Graham Norton Show in 2021 that “to me they are still the sickest girl band in the world.”
Little Mix continued as a trio following Jesy’s departure before going on hiatus in 2022. As Jesy and Zion prepare to welcome their twins, fans around the world are sending their love and well wishes to the happy couple.
