Celebrities — with the notable exception of Kim Kardashian — were everywhere at this year’s Formula One Miami Grand Prix. Alongside the usual lineup of WAGs, several unexpected stars appeared in the paddock, including Manon Bannerman of Katseye, who has remained active with solo appearances despite her hiatus from the group.
After attending both weekends of Coachella — and even joining PinkPantheress onstage during the second weekend — Manon surprised fans again with a sponsored appearance for Tommy Hilfiger at the Miami Grand Prix. She filmed a campaign alongside Sergio Pérez, the Mexican driver currently racing for Cadillac, as the pair took part in a high-speed lap ahead of the race for the brand.
You ever been on a circuit before?” asks Pérez, to which Manon says “never.” “I’ve never been on this one, so you’ll have to tell me when to stop,” Pérez teases back, as Manon laughs, “Girl, don’t tell me that.”
The three-minute clip is charming, with Manon Bannerman laughing throughout the ride as she bounced around in her seat during the high-speed lap. She later returned for race day wearing a white tank top and black Bermuda shorts, even posing alongside Tommy Hilfiger himself. While Cadillac may not have taken home a victory at the Formula One Miami Grand Prix, it arguably secured the weekend’s most talked-about celebrity guest.
