British singer Lola Young has broken her silence nearly three months after announcing she was stepping away from the public eye following a health scare in September.
The 24-year-old first made headlines when she collapsed on stage during a performance at the All Things Go Festival in New York, prompting her to cancel all upcoming shows and take time off to focus on her wellbeing. Videos of the singer swaying on stage before falling backwards at the Forest Hills Stadium went viral.
On December Saturday, 20, Young posted her first message to fans on Instagram since her career hiatus. In the heartfelt update, she expressed deep gratitude to followers who gave her space and support while she worked on her mental and physical health.
She confirmed she is “doing well” and said she hopes to “gradually get back to performing and continuing pursuing my dreams.” Young also shared festive wishes and told fans she “can’t wait to see you in 2026.”
“I’ve felt so much love and support from you all and it has helped more than you will ever know.
“I am hoping to gradually get back to performing and continuing pursuing my dreams.
“Happy holidays to you all and can’t wait to see you in 2026.
“Life is a journey, nothing is perfect but today I am doing well.
“All my love always, Lola.”
The message marks a hopeful step forward for the singer, who earlier this year canceled a string of tour dates to prioritize self-care after the onstage incident. Many supporters have welcomed her return to social media and are looking forward to her next chapter.

Among those who showed support for the singer in the comments section were DJ Annie Mac, presenter Clara Amfo, and singer Pixie Lott.
The singer was due to play venues around England and Scotland in October followed by tour dates in the US, Mexico and Canada in November and December with performances scheduled for South America and Europe in 2026.
Young has had three UK top 40 singles, including One Thing and Dealer, and won The Ivors rising star award earlier this year.
A few weeks before she collapsed on stage Young released her third studio album, I’m Only F****** Myself, which peaked at number three in the UK albums chart.
