Cardi B has withdrawn from this weekend’s ONE Musicfest in Atlanta’s Central Park due to a recent health scare.
The award-winning recording artist, who was one of the festival’s headliners, took to X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday to share the news with her fans, revealing that she’s been recovering from a medical emergency and won’t be able to perform.
“It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend, and I really wish I could be there,” Cardi wrote in her post, expressing her disappointment over missing the event. The 32-year-old superstar has not provided further details about the nature of her health issues, but her absence is undoubtedly a significant blow to the festival lineup.

Famed for its varied lineup, ONE Musicfest will continue to showcase a fantastic lineup of musicians like Gunna, Jill Scott, Victoria Monét, Earth, Wind & Fire, GloRilla, Nelly, and Method Man, among many more. Cardi’s performance was eagerly anticipated, but the festival promises to give a remarkable experience with a varied choice of bands spanning genres from hip-hop to R&B to soul.
Although some fans may be unhappy by Cardi B’s absence, tickets for the event are still available, beginning at $129 for single-day entrance. The Bronx-born musician, whose true name is Belcalis Marlenis Cephus, has not yet announced any intentions to reschedule her concert.
This announcement came during a year of personal achievements for Cardi. Earlier in 2023, she made headlines after filing for divorce from Offset, the Atlanta rapper and part of Migos, with whom she has two children.
In a shocking twist, Cardi also disclosed that she is pregnant with their third kid. Despite her ongoing personal issues, Cardi remains one of the most important artists in hip-hop, and her absence from ONE Musicfest just adds to the suspense surrounding her next move.
