On Thursday, the African rap icon dropped the official music video for his latest track “Odo Pa,” featuring Kweku Flick. While the song’s emotional depth and heavy narrative on navigating toxic relationships are already turning heads, it’s the video’s unexpected celebrity cameo that has everyone talking.
Multi-hyphenate star Efia Odo—known for her work as a singer-songwriter, actress, and video vixen—makes a sultry appearance in the video, showing off her incredible athleticism and choreography as a pole dancer in a late-night club setting.
Taking to her Instagram to share some behind-the-scenes clips and photos from the David Duncan-directed shoot, Efia expressed her gratitude to the rap legend.
“Grateful to @Sarkodie for trusting me to be part of such a powerful project. Thank you for giving me the platform to showcase my craft,” she wrote.
The cinematic video contrasts heavy emotional storytelling with striking, nocturnal club aesthetics, perfectly capturing the song’s vivid lyrics about wanting better for someone trapped in a bad relationship.
